We are known by the company we keep!

The following is a small sampling of the unsolicited testimonials we receive.

AUSTIN TELCO FEDERAL CREDIT UNION
CEDAR PARK, TEXAS
MR. JAMES D. POPLIN, PRESIDENT
AUSTIN TELCO FEDERAL CREDIT UNION

“I want to thank you for the outstanding job Spencer Godfrey Architects did on our new Cedar Park branch. After a few meetings with our building committee, your first presentation of an overall building concept was just what we were looking for. Our staff and Board of Directors also wanted me to express their satisfaction with your services from the original drawings to the time the final construction phases were completed.

This is the third building project you have handled for Austin Telco and I am sure we will be using your services again in the future. The building has received nothing but compliments from our members, individuals in the community and our peers in the Credit Union industry as well.

I would be delighted for you to give my name as a reference regarding the quality and professionalism of you and your firm.”

SANTA CRUZ CATHOLIC CHURCH, BUDA, TEXAS
MR. PAUL CURTIN, SANTA CRUZ BUILDING COMMITTEE

“When planning the building of our new church, the Santa Cruz Building Committee interviewed several architects from the Austin area. From these interviews, the proposals submitted, inspection of completed projects, and conversations with previous clients it was the unanimous decision of the committee to retain Spencer Godfrey as architects for our project. Since that time, we have worked very closely with them on master site planning, schematic design, and costing and are now in the design development drawing stage.

To date, we have been very pleased with the work of Spencer Godfrey. Bo Spencer and Mike Godfrey have both been very available when required, responsive to the wishes of our building committee, and creative in developing designs that best answer the needs of the parish. Their considerable experience in church design, including several for the Catholic Diocese of Austin, serves them well in translating our parish dreams into practical realities. Even though we are still in the design development stage, their cost estimating abilities to date have enabled us to make informed decisions regarding various options.

In all of our contacts so far, Bo Spencer and Mike Godfrey have demonstrated an honest, professional, straight-forward approach in working with the committee. They have done a good job in proposing alternative solutions to design problems and thoroughly explain the pros and cons of each design to assist us make correct decisions. They tell us when they feel our proposed requirements are impractical or improper and suggest more viable alternatives. Our work with Spencer Godfrey to date has been a good experience that I feel will ultimately result in a great new church for Santa Cruz Parish.”

DUPONT WORLD WIDE HEADQUARTERS, ROUND ROCK, TEXAS
MR. CHRIS HIGGS, McCOMB CONSTRUCTION CO, INC.

“As I sit here in this beautiful facility we recently completed I think it is time to give some credit to the lead architectural team.

As is always the case with a finished product from your firm, the plans were complete and detailed. If there was clarification needed you and Kirk were ready to offer guidance and information, as is evidenced by the many calls and questions you fielded (sometimes as many as 6 per hour).

I have worked with Architects who live in ivory towers and actually take offense and get angry with questions. I have been told to look at drawings and quit bothering the designer (These drawings were never complete and were incapable of communicating the design teams' intent.) But with your firm, including your very competent support staff, no question was too “stupid.” Your willingness to work in the real world is a valuable asset that any client or general contractor should appreciate as being of prime consideration and of utmost importance.

Your firm has the ability to recognize the Owners concerns and balance these with the constraints of the construction process. I appreciate deeply the support you give the GC and your true understanding of the building process.

I approach with fear my next project, because I understand that you were not the Architect of record. But I look forward to the next project we work together on. I can truly say that my experiences with your firm have been rewarding, enlightening and certainly most enjoyable,
Thank you for a great job that was very well done.”

WILLIAMSON COUNTY ANNEX, CEDAR PARK, TEXAS
MR. GREG BOATRIGHT, COUNTY COMMISSIONER

“This letter is to inform you of the professionalism and quality design provided to Williamson County by the firm of Spencer Godfrey Architects.

Spencer Godfrey Architects designed the Williamson County Annex located in Cedar Park on Discovery Boulevard. Anyone who has been in or seen our annex realizes the quality of design and construction. Mike Godfrey worked closely with myself and other elected officials and department heads to design a building that fit our needs now and for the future.

I whole-heartedly recommend Bo Spencer and Mike Godfrey and would welcome any questions you would have concerning their firm.”

ROCKDALE FEDERAL CREDIT UNION
MR. RON MONTGOMERY, MANAGER

“Rockdale Federal Credit Union has utilized the advice and architectural design experience of Spencer Godfrey Architects to help us in a difficult modernization of our facility. The team of Bo Spencer and Mike Godfrey provided us conceptual drawings in our initial study. From that point, they have helped us determine our current needs while dealing with current facility limitations.

We are looking to a February or March groundbreaking and expect great things from our modernization. Spencer Godfrey has been very helpful and has been diligent in meeting our time requirements. They have made excellent presentation to our Board of Directors.

I would recommend their service highly!”
